CONTRACT BETWEEN RIVERFOREST PARK CAMPGROUND, LICENSOR, & LICENSEE - THIS IS A LEGAL DOCUMENT
1. Licensee agrees to carry his own insurance to protect his family, guests and property against theft, fire, windstorm, weather-related damage, damage from falling trees or limbs, “acts of God” and vandalism during the season and while in storage. Licensor is not responsible for damage, loss or injury of any kind and it is mutually understood that the Licensee releases Licensor from any and all liability.
2. The Licensee accepts full responsibility for their actions, their family and guests. It is their duty to familiarize themselves, their family and guests with all campground rules and regulations.
3. Boat Permit fees are to be paid IN FULL prior to the beginning of any camping season, on or before May 1st.
4. The Licensee understands and agrees that this lease is for a specific boat for the period of time stated. The management may at any time request that the Licensee’s boat & trailer be removed from the premises. Such removal will be within twenty-four (24) hours after receipt of a written notice.
5. In the event that Licensor is required to remove the Licensee’s boat & trailer for non-payment of any fees owed, or violation of Licensor rules, or for any other reason, the Licensee agrees to hold Licensor harmless from any damage to the trailer or contents during the process of moving their boat & trailer. In addition, the Licensee agrees that their boat will be held in storage and not released to the Licensee or any other party until all fees owed are paid in full, including storage fees incurred. In the event that any outstanding fees are not paid in full after Ninety (90) days, the Licensee hereby authorizes Licensor to transfer title to Licensor and to allow Licensor to sell their boat & trailer in order to recover any fees owed.
6. Licensee agrees that Licensor may charge any and all outstanding fees owed to the Licensee’s credit card after 30 days of non-payment.
7. The Licensee understands and agrees that this Contract and Boat Permit is not transferable to any person(s) for any reason.
8. Licensee understands and agrees that if they decide to leave Riverforest Park at any time and for any reason prior to Columbus Day Weekend, there will be no refund of any of the fees paid and that any fees or other bills owed will be paid in full prior to the removal of their boat.
MANAGEMENT RESERVES THE RIGHT TO EVICT IMMEDIATELY, WITHOUT REFUND, ANY PERSONS VIOLATING CAMPGROUND & MARINA RULES. IF THE LICENSEE FAILS TO ENFORCE ANY EVICTION NOTICE TO ANY MEMBER OF HIS FAMILY OR GUESTS, PERMISSION IS HEREBY GRANTED TO REMOVE THEIR BOAT & TRAILER FROM THE PREMISES. I ACKNOWLEDGE THAT I HAVE RECEIVED A COPY OF THE CAMPGROUND RULES & REGULATIONS AND HAVE THOROUGHLY UNDERSTAND, AND WILL OBEY ALL RULES AND REGULATIONS AND THE RULES & CONDITIONS LISTED ABOVE.
